Jason Derulo Jordin Sparks have reportedly decided to call it quits. The day after Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose decided to part ways, Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks followed suit. A source confirmed to E! Online that the stories about the Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks are, indeed, true. Plus, according to the source, the split was also amicable.

The source added that the two musicians have also opted to remain friends. However, some reports have now surfaced that "being friends" might actually not be up their alley. A source informed HollywoodLife.com, "Jason keeps making hit song after hit song. He keeps making money hand over fist and that was a big strain on the relationship between the two and the main reason that he didn't marry her and the reason they broke up. If he married her and they fell out of love, he would take a huge financial hit. It got to the point that he started thinking that she would get half of everything that he made for himself rather than what it would be to be in love with her."

If what the source was saying is true, then it looks like Jason Derulo has prioritized the money he has earned over Jordin Sparks. Fans are thinking that someone had to have put this crazy notion into his head and that he merely got caught up in it.

The source then added, "Success took Jason in a different direction, and that was away from Jordin. They would have survived in Jason's eyes had their relationship been like Jay-Z and Beyoncé and both equally had a career." The love story between Jay and Bey is, indeed, inspirational. But to break up with someone because of it is another story. Fans of both Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo are heartbroken after they heard this bit of news.

To date, both sides have not yet provided their comments on this issue.
