"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is reportedly rumored to have filed divorce papers, according to The Examiner.
Sources have reportedly stated that Teresa Giudice plans to leave her husband Joe to "rebuild her image" so that RHONJ producers don't fire her. An insider for Celebrity Dirty Laundry claims that Teresa plans to leave Joe after their October 2 sentencing.
The RHONJ couple reportedly pleaded guilty to several counts of bankruptcy fraud recently. Joe and Teresa Giudice reportedly put three of their New Jersey homes on the real estate market in order to raise cash for their children depending on how the upcoming sentencing goes.
Despite the divorce rumors, Teresa Giudice spent the last episode of RHONJ looking for a cheaper home for her family. She caught the attention of fans for carrying a $2,400 Valentino purse while looking for properties with her daughter Gia, according to Radar Online.
According to an insider for the entertainment website, the "Rockstud medium leather trpeze bag" from the designer's most recent collection, doesn't actually belong to the mother of four.
"Teresa was given a Valentino handbag by producers of the show to use for filming. They wanted her to look extremely wealthy while looking for a new house, especially because she was downsizing," explained the source.
The insider added, "The purse was on loan but Teresa expected to keep it. When producers told her she had to give it back, she wasn't happy about it at all!"
