The long-awaited sentencing of Teresa and Joe Giudice was held this morning.
Teresa Giudice has been sentenced to 15 months in prison on fraud charges, according to E! News.
Before the sentencing, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star reportedly begged the judge for leniency and stated that she is in a deep depression and her life is now ruined, according to TMZ.
"I fully take responsibility for my actions. I deeply love my family. My four daughters are my life," Teresa Giudice read from a letter in court, according to the New Jersey Record.
Joe Giudice has been sentenced to 41 months in prison and is reportedly ordered to pay $414,000 is restitution for bankruptcy fraud and failure to file federal income tax returns.
Teresa Giudice will reportedly be serving her sentence January 5 while Joe will begin his once his wife is able to take on the parental duties during his time away. U.S. Distrct Judge Esther Salas had reportedly previously stated that if she were to sentence Teresa to prison time, she would want Teresa to serve her time first so Joe would be able to stay with the kids.
Depending on his prison term, Joe reportedly might have to face deportation back to Italy.
"I stand here humiliated before the court and my family and society. I disgraced many people, including my wife and four daughters. I take full responsibility for my actions. I promise to be a better person," the father of four stated in court.
