Carrie Underwood has made history while pregnant, as she recently broke records with her new single, "Something In The Water".
According to a report from NewsOk, "Something In The Water" was released by the country superstar as the first single of her upcoming album entitled "Greatest Hits: Decade #1."
The single reportedly earned more than 124,000 digital sales since it was released last September 29, making it the the highest first-week sales tally of the singer's career.
According to NewsOk, it was also the best opening-week sales for this year done by any female country singer.
Carrie Underwood's new track while pregnant also made history at Mediabase. The report stated that it gathered 144 total stations on impact date.
"Something In The Water" has also totalled an astounding 157 first-week stations on board. Reporting stations included Billboard and Country Aircheck, said NewsOk.
According to Mediabase's country airplay chart, Carrie Underwood's new single is also close to being the highest debut of any artist for 2014.
Just recently, Ace Showbiz reported that the former "American Idol" winner broke down while receiving a special ACM award.
The hitmaker was awarded with the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award at the ACM event held last September 9. Carrie Underwood was an emotional pregnant mom-to-be as she broke into tears during her acceptance speech.
"Thank you to my family and my husband tonight, very supportive and wonderful to me. I have the best team in the universe. And I feel like I don't get enough chances to thank them publicly," said Carrie Underwood, her baby bump showing under her sleeveless peach dress.
The singer also jokingly asked after crying throughout her speech: "What is wrong with me??"
The blond beauty posted on Instagram an image later that night, showing both the ACM stage and a close shot of her after the ceremony. Carrie Underwood again poked fun at her emotional moment while accepting the award by captioning the photo: "Had such a great night at the ACM Honors! Now everyone can go back to making fun of me for crying during my speech!"
