The Tekken 7 release date for PS4, Xbox One And PC version has been revealed shortly after the game was shown at EGX 2014 if the reports and rumors are to be revealed.
The Tekken 7 trailer features Kazuya's mother, Kazumi Mishima as the video further shows the history of violence in the Mishima clan not to mention the Devil Gene curse within the family.
The trailer further hinted that Kasumi's husband Heihachi murdered her, possibly finding out that she has the Devil Gene within as Kasumi hinted that her powers were passed on to her son, Kazuya.
The trailer ends with Kazuya confronting his father in a fit of rage on the same volcano where he was thrown in Tekken 2. It is not yet confirmed whether Kasumi Mishima will be a playable character or possibly a boss character within Tekken 7.
Tekken 7 is one of the three games that Katsuhiro Harada has been working following the leaked information about game last week.
"The first thought that came into my head was 'It must have been Ono,'" Harada joked, referring to rival and Street Fighter boss Yoshinori Ono.
Harada also confirmed that Tekken 7 is being built on the Unreal Engine 4.
"With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it."
"Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."
Taka Kawasaki, studio head at Epic Games Japan, recently discussed excitement for "Tekken 7" in a press release on Monday. Kawasaki said that the partnership between Bandai Namco and Epic Games is perfect for the next game because it will lead to great results and then he confirmed that Tekken 7 PC version will happen.
Taka Kawasaki said in an interview that Tekken 7 would come with greatly improved visuals which can only be done on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. He even singled out the Tekken 7 PC version because that was the lead platform during development.
In an interview with 4Gamer, Harada reflected on his career in 2013. "As part of being the leader in the development of multiple free-to-play titles, I was also involved in the efforts to change the structures of the console gaming industry with the first party group of SCE, I hope to keep this going into (2014) as well."
"Tekken is one of my life's works, and while I can't say much here, together with the titles we were going to announce this year, I'm also working on several other titles simultaneously with Tekken. From there, I'd like to announce at least two of those titles in 2014, and I feel that it's something I must do."
"There are a few titles that we've been quietly working on, and some we've been thinking about working on, so the year 2014 looks like it'll be a tough one."
Cyberland has reported that Tekken 7 is only slated to be released for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Arcades while the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii-U are not being considered at the moment and that the Tekken 7 release date is on May 2015 and a planned 2014 release for the arcades.
