Xbox One System Update Screenshots. Adding to the Xbox One October System Update, Microsoft is preparing to unveil a new function to your video game console - taking screenshots. However, The Redmond, tech giant says it's more difficult than they imagined. So it's going to take more time, finishing off the new feature in 2015.
Microsoft's Xbox chief Phil Spencer IGN, "As we come back into the new year, we'll see new stuff, and screenshots is on the list." Spencer added that the function was more technically difficult to execute than he had first thought. Microsoft engineers are still working on the 'screen shot' feature to make it part of anupcoming Xbox One System Update Screenshots.
Talking to IGN, Spencer said, "In December, it's probably a time for us to pause for a little bit and settle just as all the new consoles are coming online." So it's unlikely that an update with the Xbox One System Update Screenshots feature will unveil in December.
Meanwhile, GameSpot.com reported on the Xbox One System Update Screenshots feature saying, "By comparison, the PlayStation 4 has allowed users to take and share screenshots since launch in November 2013. The Xbox One's lack of screenshot functionality has put a damper on some game functionality, as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor's Photo Mode is significantly limited on Xbox One."
Reports briefing fans about the latest in Xbox news, the Xbox One October Update Roll Out has begun and Microsoft (MSFT) considers the October update to be a big one with lots of features. A revamped Snap Center, a Friends dashboard section and redesigned Achievement features are some of featured updates. Xbox One October Update Roll Out also includes improved "password resets."
To find out if the October update is available in your region, go to the system section of Settings menu and search for System Update key. Custom dashboard features and a screenshot function is on the way.
The web site for Xbox One shared that the October updates are designed for multitasking and to improve multi-player features. The Snap update is an answer to what the fan base has been requesting for a while: Friends, Game DVR, Messages, clock, and battery indicator. The Achievements app enables gamers to share their achievements and take a look at the scores of friends.
However, Xbox One fans will have to wait till next year for the Xbox One System Update Screenshots.
