"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star June Shannon, widely known as Mama June, reportedly might be dating a sex offender who had previously served time for child molestation, according to Fox News.

The man, Mark McDaniel, had reportedly gone to jail for molesting a child in Shannon's family when they were dating years earlier, according to TMZ.

Since news broke that the mom of the reality show family might be dating a man who was reportedly charged with aggravated child molestation in 2004 and served a 10-year sentence, there have been reports that "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" may no longer have a future.

"TLC is not in production on 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,'" a rep for the network stated.

The rep added, "We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series."

Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's mom had reportedly separated with the Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson last month, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship," the parents of 9-year-old beauty pageant winner Alana said in a statement.

They added, "We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank ya'll for your support."
