Rumors that Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom might be an item have been swirling since Justin Bieber and the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor made a scene at a club early this summer.

Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom reportedly kept a low profile during their appearance at the We Day conference in Vancouver yesterday and it might've been because the "Come & Get It" singer's on-again-off-again boyfriend was keeping watch in his own way.

The troubled pop star reportedly had his friend Alfredo Flores keep watch on Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom, according to HollywoodLife.

"Selena told Justin that she was going to be on that flight with Orlando, and Justin was definitely jealous and upset," a source told the entertainment website.

The insider added, "But instead of showing that to Selena, he made sure his buddy Alfredo was with her to pretty much watch her and report back to Justin if anything happened."

Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom might've known that the world, as well as Justin Bieber, were watching their every move because the two reportedly spent all their time apart during the conference.

"I haven't seen Selena and Orlando hanging out, they've both been doing their own thing," a source for HollywoodLife stated.

The insider continued, ""They've hardly been in the same room together but that could be on purpose since they know all eyes are on them."

The 37-year-old actor reportedly denied the rumors that he was dating the 22-year-old former Disney star.

When asked by photographers about his relationship with Gomez, Bloom stated, "No man, we were just attending We Day together," according to Just Jared.
