Human Dean is back and his brother Sam is relieved. It seems like everything is right in the Winchesters' lives again, or is it? Read on for this week's 'Supernatural' season 10 recap.
Jensen Ackles gets back on the director's chair for this week's 'Soul Survivor.' He sat it out last season to focus on his wife's pregnancy. This time, he's come ready to helm episode three and give a hair-raising performance as Demon Dean out to kill his baby brother.
To start off the 'Supernatural' season 10 recap, viewers see Sam collect some blood that has been blessed by a priest. From previous seasons, fans know that sanctified blood is needed to cure a demon. Without wasting time, the younger Winchester begins to treat Dean from his demonic state.
Despite seeing him in pain, Sam continues to treat his brother by injecting him with sanctified human blood. He believes that the Dean who's been taunting and insulting him is not his brother. However, Dean insists that he likes the "new" him better and he wants to stay this way.
Castiel, despite his slowly depleting stolen grace, runs to his friends' side to help them out. They get held up in a gas station by the rogue angel that they had been hunting down. With Castiel's weakened state, the angel easily overtakes him.
Crowley abandons his half-hearted attempt to rule Hell to help Castiel out. He makes him take the rogue angel's grace, knowing that he needs full powers to cure Dean. Is the King Of Hell getting sentimental again? Also it's quite suspicious for Hannah to just sit back and allow Crowley to feed Castiel some freshly harvested borrowed grace.
With Castiel's grace issue solved for now, he immediately stops Dean from murdering Sam. They continue with the treatment and Dean loses the black eyes.
Although Sam thinks everything is back to normal now, Dean isn't as convinced. While he was a demon, he didn't have to worry about anything but now that he got his human emotions back, the guilt, pain and emotional chaos also came back in full force. Add to that the knowledge of Sam having to take dark "consequences" just to find him, Dean doesn't look too happy about being human again.
Towards the end of the episode, a new character is introduced. A woman with long red hair, looking suspiciously like Abaddon, sits in front of a fireplace. Things get creepy though when blood drops on her arm. The camera pans up and viewers can see the two bellboys nailed on the ceiling.
Is this the new demon woman that producers said would cause havoc in the near future? How do you think will this new character shake things up with the Winchester boys?
