Reports surfaced this week that the mother of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star Alana Thompson is allegedly dating her former boyfriend who was convicted of child molestation.

June Shannon, aka Mama June, has reportedly denied reports that she's dating a convicted child molester through her daughter's Facebook page on Friday, according to Us Magazine.

"I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn't go back," stated 35-year-old Mama June about her ex Mark McDaniel who was allegedly convicted of molesting Shannon's relative, according to TMZ.

Mama June continued in the video, "These statements of me dating a sex offender is totally untrue. I would not ever ever put my kids in danger. I love my kids too much. That is my past."

Along with the Facebook video, Mama June wrote to fans of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," "Remember you can't believe everything you read!"

TLC has reportedly canceled the hit show. The network gave a statement to TMZ regarding its decision to pull the plug on "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

"Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority," the network said in the statement, according to Deadline.

TLC added, "TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being."

News that "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" has come to an end isn't all too surprising as TLC had reportedly revealed yesterday that it was "very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series," according to a network rep.
