Choose opponents with bad records

When you enter the Exhibition mode you have four possible opponents. You are given the names and the portraits along with information on the number of win and losses for potential foes. So all you need to do is work out which is the easiest to defeat.

Early on in the game you get the chance to take on decks that have been used just once or twice and even when playing for several hours you can be given the chance of facing users with fewer games on record that what you have for wins. The wins will get you some easy cards very early on and you on your way to the top of the ladder.

Don't keep commons

There is no reason for you to keep common card that you get after the matches. Use some of the cards that are less valuable in the collection to train superstars. Almost every card can be trained in the first levels with a handful of commons. Bear in mind that each of the common cards is 21 more experience.

Manage the cards between your matches

You should be hitting the Edit Deck in between your matches, thanks to the reward system of the game you will get one new card after each match and this can be enough to get a new Pro card or even earn stat points for cards that are in your collection,

Being able to efficiently manage your cards is crucial in the early success. Try not to let more than 3 to 4 matches pass without doing it and don't get attached to cards that are in your deck.

Swap or Energize KotR cards

Keep an eye on the King of the Ring when you enter a three day tournament. It only takes a couple of losses and you can throw away your hopes of taking the top prize in the competitive modes. Good energy management is all it takes to qualify for a prize in the King of the Ring tournament. King of the Ring comes in two stages, so you can get into a position where you don't have to win your last couple of matches on the schedule. It doesn't hurt to keep some energy and stat boosters to hand.

Make sure that you level the divas

Many people cannot be bothered to acquire or train any of the divas and they are a wildcard in the game as you don't know if they will see action in a match. However one could help you when you least expect it. So don't use your diva cards as fodder for the other cards.

Always have two tag teams active

Make sure that you have two tag teams active. If you pair two wrestlers that have matching icons it will stop them from losing a portion of their stats, but at the same time you don't get the 10% compatibility bonus. You will ideally want two left and two right facing triangles, two ups and two downs, then you will have more freedom.
