Kate Middleton has finally braved the outside world after being practically confined in their Bucklebury Mansion and the Kensington Palace because of pregnancy-related sickness. She took a bit of a break from her regal duties as she suffered from Hyperemesis Gravidarum or severe morning sickness.
A close friend to the royal family revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge is slowly recovering from her worrying condition. She has not shown any signs of the sickness this week, which was why she opted to return to her royal duties.
The insider said, via Perez Hilton's website, "She was her smiling, bubbly self. You would never have guessed she's been ill. It is not right to say that she is absolutely fine. She is still feeling some of the effects of HG, but she is definitely recovering."
Not so surprisingly, the Princess, despite being fresh out from her sickness, stunned the crowd in her Alexander McQueen coat dress as she met up with the President of the Republic of Singapore at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. It was her first royal appearance since the public confirmation of her second baby bump, which some strongly speculate is a girl.
On Tuesday, she attended the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards, which was held at the Natural History Museum, in a baby blue Jenny Packham gown. She was described to be "giving off the ever-so-slight Princess Diana vibes."
Speaking of the late Princess, the expecting father, Prince William, allegedly wants to name his daughter after her. However, Queen Elizabeth has her bets on another name, Margaret, the name of her late sister.
To date, there has been no confirmation on what gender the baby is going to be. For now, the public can continue to make guesses on the names and predictions on the baby's gender. Thankfully, the Palace did give out a detail regarding Kate Middleton's pregnancy, and that would be the fact that the youngest royal is going to be born in April next year.
