"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star Mama June has vehemently denied that she's rekindled her romance with sex offender Mark McDaniel, who reportedly molested her oldest daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell when she was eight.
However, photo evidence continues to surface showing Mama June with McDaniel, who was released from prison in March.
Mama June reportedly spent $25,000 in cash at a car dealership in Macon, GA for two used cars, according to TMZ. Although the reality television mom claimed that it was for someone in the family, one of the cars was reportedly delivered to a home in Decatur, GA, which McDaniel listed on his sex offender registration, according to InTouch Weekly.
TMZ revealed a photo yesterday of Mama June in a house with the star of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," 9-year-old Alana Thompson, and McDaniel. In the photo, it reportedly looks like McDaniel has his hands gently placed on Honey Boo Boo's arm.
The possibility of Mama June losing custody of three of her daughters, who are minors, is reportedly quite high.
"When [the Division of Family and Children Services] gets a report that indicates a child is living around someone who is a sex offender or who may have been guilty of child molestation, we would take that very seriously and go out and investigate and look at the parent's protective capacity," stated Susan Boatwright, a rep for the Division of Family and Children Services, according to Fox News.
Boatwright reportedly emphasized that she couldn't comment on whether or not the agency was investigating Mama June due to privacy reasons.
"I would feel hurt. I would not feel betrayed, but I would feel hurt. You know the past should be in the past and it should stay in the past and not come back out," stated 20-year-old Cardwell regarding her mother's alleged relationship with McDaniel, according to People magazine.
