Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have called it quits after only several months of dating.
The "Hunger Games" star and the Coldplay frontman reportedly began dating in late June, shortly after Jennifer Lawrence split from ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, according to E! News.
The 24-year-old actress had described her ideal man during her interview for the November issue of Vanity Fair and it seems like Chris Martin just didn't make the cut.
"[I want someone who] isn't afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love," explained Lawrence.
She continued, "I'd rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you."
Despite the breakup, things may have been serious during the couple's short period together. The "American Hustle" actress' grandmother Carolyn Koch reportedly told The Sun earlier this month, "Jennifer's mom flew to Los Angeles to meet Chris. We will have to get another chair for the dinner at Christmas."
Although the world was ever-so curious about the couple, the two stars kept their brief relationship incredibly private and remain equally as silent about their breakup. The split reportedly comes days after Chris Martinwas spotted on a family dinner at a sushi restaurant in L.A with his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, according to The Daily Mail.
"Jen got tired of watching Chris play happy families with Gwyn and was annoyed that he was trying to keep her hidden away," a source told the media outlet.
Paltrow and Martin, who have two children together, split in March of this year due to "conscious uncoupling."
