Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi can't seem to get away from the rumors that their marriage is falling apart.
The couple is now facing rumors that an argument prevented them from attending a charity fundraiser on Sunday, according to The Daily Mail.
A source told the New York Post that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi "were in the car on the way, when they had an epic fight" and "ended up turning around."
The talk show host and the "Arrested Development" star were reportedly on the way to the Saving SPOT! fund-raiser at Tiato in Santa Monica when they got into the rumored argument, according to Fox News. Both DeGeneres and de Rossi were reportedly pictured on the invitation as hosts.
"Ellen and Portia were supposed to be at the event at 5 p.m., but at 6:30 p.m., the media was still waiting for their arrival. Reporters were told they were on their way, until the head of the charity informed everyone at the end of the event that they weren't going to make it due to 'logistics,'" a source told the news outlet.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have slammed divorce rumors for a couple years now. The couple has even gone as far as addressing all the tabloid reports on Ellen's show.
As most of the previous stories have been, the recent reports of their argument are also reportedly "a complete lie," according to DeGeneres' attorney Marty Singer.
"My client told the organizer they never agreed nor planned to attend the event. There was no fight that caused them not to attend," stated Singer.
