It's that time of year, when nurses and Disney characters are made into some kind of sexy.
Amidst all the rather silly costumes, the "Sexy Ebola Containment Suit" might actually top the list of most inappropriate Halloween costumes of 2014.
The online retailer, BrandsOnSale, reportedly unveiled the new sexy ebola nurse Halloween costume several days ago, according to ABC News. The costume reportedly features a short white dress, face shield, breathing mask, safety goggles and blue latex gloves at $59.99 per Halloween costume.
"The fact that there's a sexy ebola nurse costume proves the sexy costumes have gone out of control," wrote one Twitter user, according to the media outlet.
Halloween 2014 may feature even more inappropriate constumes as the selection of ensembles that allow men to dress up as "fat women" have emerged as well, according to The Daily Mail. The costumes reportedly include offensive designs including "Tinker Belly," "Sexy Fat Cheerleader," "Fat Fairy" and "Fat Lap Dancer."
The ridiculous costumes have already sparked outrage.
"An excellent piece of evidence that felinity is hilarious or ridiculous in U.S. culture, or even frightening or disgusting, is the fact that men use the category 'woman' as a Halloween costume," wrote Lisa Wade, professor at Occidental College, in a piece on The Huffington Post.
She continued, "Many costume manufacturing add fat hatred to the mix. Because there is nothing more disgusting and hilarious, we are told, than a fat woman. Except, perhaps, a fat woman who fails to be properly humiliated."
