Doctors got a 30-day extension allowing them to hold actress Amanda Bynes in a Pasadena psychiatric facility, according to TMZ.

The 28-year-old actress' parents have now reportedly obtained a conservatorship order after claiming that she's been buying expensive gifts for strangers, according to The Irish Independent.

Amanda Bynes' parents Lynn and Rick Bynes are now reportedly in charge of their daughter's affairs after finding out that the "She's The Man" star has been spending "alarming amounts" on jewelry for random strangers that she doesn't know.

Amanda Bynes' current net worth is reportedly $5,747,703.36. Of that amount, $2.8 million is real property while her income from her rental property reportedly amounted to $144,768 last year.

The conservatorship was reportedly filed on October 22; however, it's currently unclear how long the conservatorship order will be in place. The period of time Amanda Bynes will be treated for remains unclear, while there is speculation that it'll be anywhere between two and 12 months.

The former child star had reportedly been doing well as she was under the care of her parents while attending fashion school. However, soon after her conservatorship ended, she got a DUI arrest and then relocated to New York City where she reportedly showed various accounts of erratic behavior.

As Bynes' mental state worsened, evident from the sexual abuse allegations she made against her father, the former Nickelodeon star's parents have reportedly been offered help from Britney Spears' dad Jamie.

"Amanda's parents are very worried and they got in touch with Jamie via mutual friends as he'd been through something similar. Jamie told them not to blame themselves and suggested they have counseling. He's offered to help in any way he can," a source told the British magazine Closer.
