It's October 29, which, as everyone knows, is "National Cat Day," the one day to celebrate your furry feline friend while it ignores you and does it's own thing as always.
Uber was willing to help cat lovers celebrate "National Cat Day" with another promo code event that allows people to spend time with kittens in the afternoon, according to the news outlet NBC Bay Area.
The ridesharing service reportedly came up with a promo code event where a car will bring a cat to you for 15 minutes at a cost of $30, according to USA Today. The money will go to local shelters, according to Uber's website.
The service was available in Austin, Chicago, Washington D.C., New York, Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle until 4p.m. today. Uber's special kitten promo code event was created in collaboration with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Cheezburger.
This might've been the perfect way to celebrate "National Cat Day" as the cats that were part of the Uber promo code event were also available for adoption.
Uber has been known for delivering something other than rides, and has reportedly offered flu shots and manicures as asked as well. We're just going to have to wait to see what comes next.
