Charlie Sheen might be returning to "Two and a Half Men" after his infamous fall out with the show's creator Chuck Lorre, according to the media outlet Digital Spy.
During a recent interview with Extra, the "Anger Management" actor reportedly suggested that CBS is open to him reprising his role as bachelor Charlie Harper.
"I would definitely do it, yeah, yeah. If they'll still have me, I will be there. Yeah, I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans. I just think it makes sense," stated Charlie Sheen, according to Extra TV.
Sheen added that he may even have an idea for the finale of "Two and a Half Men."
"I have a brilliant idea, but don't want to give it away. It's the type of moment I think people would talk about for a long time and it wouldn't get in anybody's way. Think it would be a nice tip of the hat, they know I want to do it and I know they're open to it, so, guess we're just a meeting away from making it happen," stated Sheen.
Sheen was fired from the series in 2011 and had gone on a Twitter rant bashing his replacement, Ashton Kutcher, writing, "Quit barking on my old brilliant show," according to the NY Daily News.
Whether Charlie Sheen will be returning or not, Lorre has previously stated that the focus of the 12th and final season will be mainly on Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher's characters.
"Outside characters will come in as they do, but that's not the focus," he stated.
