Updates have been continuing for the upcoming Danny Bolye-directed Steve Jobs biopic.
Hopefully, the new film will do a better job than the 2013 film "Jobs," which starred Ashton Kutcher.
"I had such high hopes for this morning and, oh, it was so hard to say that it let me down a bit and it fell a bit flat," Wozniak told ABC News about last year's film, according to the NY Daily News.
Kutcher took on the role of Jobs while Josh Gad portrayed Wozniak. Christian Bale has reportedly been cast as Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic while rumor has been circulating that actor Seth Rogen might be playing the Apple co-founder, according to The Wrap.
The 32-year-old actor has yet to receive a formal offer yet, a source told HuffPost Entertainment.
"Zero Dark Thirty" star Jessica Chastain is also reportedly being considered for a role in the film, according to the media outlet TV3.
The screenplay of the untitled Jobs biopic is reportedly based on Walter Isaacson's book and has been adapted by Aaron Sorkin.
Sorkin has given details regarding the biopic, stating that the film will be divided into three long scenes, each taking place backstage before one of Apple's product launches, according to the Boston Herald.
"The first one being the Mac. The second one being NeXT, after he had left Apple. And the third one being the iPod," Sorkin told the Daily Beast.
He added, "It's a little like writing about the Beatles. There are so many people out there that know him and revere him."
