According to Stoudemire "That means you put in a lot of work in this league, you stay injury free and you put a lot of work in practice, a lot of repetition that goes into being that efficient within the games."

Rookie team coach for the Knicks, Derek Fisher, is impressed by the performance of his team. He said "Their effort in just trying to do what we're asking them to do is really high. Even though we are making some mistakes . we are still making it hard for teams to score in a lot of situations."

Anthony had a great performance so far. His three pointer was a part of a 15-5 surge to open the game for the Knicks. New York was able to lead as high as 12 in the quarter before Charlotte trimmed the deficit to 29-21 heading into the second.
