Right after the Miami Heat lost one of their star players LeBron James, the team has been moving forward quite well in the aftermath.
But among the members of the team who bears the burden of leading the team, Chris Bosh has been in the limelight. But Bosh does not seemed to be pressured at all, on the other hand, he is enjoying his role with the team.
Bosh said "I feel like I am a much better player and a much better leader. I try to really lead by example and lead by my voice every day."
That is how Bosh sees himself and he is also delivering quite well. He has scored at least 21 points in all three game, and the Heat were the only team in the Eastern Conference to go unbeaten in the opening week.
According to Toronto coach Dwane Casey "He is playing at a very high level right now."
And Wade, his close team mate is not surprised. He said "His pie chart is off the chain with how he can score the ball, where he's getting the ball, how we're looking for him. "He's going to be able to put up those numbers. He's rebounding great. He looks good. Credit to him for getting himself ready."
Bosh has ready to accept the challenge of the new era for the Heat.
He said "When we look back on it, it'll be a very special team because it was only a short period of time that we all had and it was a great four-year run. We're at the point where we just leave it at that, that was a special team. It was special era, it's over and we're looking forward to starting something new."
While the Miami Heat has informed their fans that they are ready for what's coming in the new season.
Wade said "Everyone in the organization has had enough time to get used to the idea that it's going to be a different team. It's my 12th year here, we've had a lot of different teams. ... You come to training camp and you don't really think about the year before or who's not in here, you just try to focus on the guys who are here."
