Lewis Hamilton is already thinking about his life after Formula One even if he still has his chance to achieve his second world Championship.

Hamilton has won a four straight races and position himself on top with 17 points clear of Rosberg. This would have to mean that the gap between Rosberg and Hamilton are pretty close and the competition is stiff.

After winning Sunday's U.S. Grand Prix that he had started thinking more about what he wanted to do when he eventually hangs up his helmet.

He said "A lot of the drivers come back and do reporting and commentary. I would personally have different plans and aspirations. It's positioning myself so that when I stop, I have something to continue on with. There's going to be an undeniable urge to want to get back in the car," he acknowledged."

"I've been racing since I was eight years old so that's going to be natural as it was for Michael (Schumacher), as it was for every driver."

Many race card drivers had retired but after a few years, had returned to race. Among them were Michael Schumacher who retired from Ferrari after winning seven times world champion in 2006 but returned with Mercedes in 2010. There was also, Ferrari's 2009 world champion Kimi Raikkonen who returned after 2 years.

He said "Mika (Hakkinen) tried to come back because it's just like a drug, you can't get away from it. At some stage when I retire ... I'll have something that I'm also really interested in that is a substitute. So that's kind of what I want to start working on and building on."

On other news, Hamilton has also splits with media mogul Simon Fuller, although both sides are not commenting on the issue. Hamilton said that that they remain close and nd may not need a replacement.

Hamilton commented "I feel quite comfortable to do it myself. Nico did his himself, Sebastian (Vettel) did his himself and there's no reason why I couldn't do it. Whether or not I will, I haven't decided. I hope to see a long future with this team, as hopefully they do as well. Nothing really needs to be changed too much."
