A snippet of the story of Gru’s minions from “Despicable Me” has been revealed with the release of the “Minions” movie trailer.

Given that the official trailer shows no signs of the voices of stars Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm, it’s clear that the endearing minions will be carrying this movie all on their own.

The spin-off movie, which will be released in 2015, will reportedly show us what the minions were doing before they met their current master, Gru, according to USA Today. In the trailer, we see the minions looking for other people throughout history to be their master, including T-Rex, Napoleon and even Dracula, but the yellow creatures end up destroying all of them unintentionally.

As the minions grow more and more depressed and aimless in their search for a new master, three minions step forward to find someone for their fellow colleagues.

The three-minute trailer for the “Minions” movie might be the most highly anticipated movies for the summer of 2015.
