'Haeundae Lovers' Achieved Viewer Rating of 9.8%.
On the 7th of August, AGB Neilson Research Media revealed that the first episode of KBS drama 'Haeundae Lovers' that was aired on the 6th of August received 9.8% of viewers.
At the same time, MBC drama 'Golden Time' received a 13.2% viewer rating while SBS aired the London Olympics. 'Haeundae Lovers' was lower than 'Golden Time' by 3.4% and was therefore not able to obtain 1st place in viewer ratings.
On this episode, public prosecutor Lee Tae Sung (played by Kim Kang Woo) and sushi restaurant operator Go So Ra (played by Jo Yeo Jung) met for the first time. Also, the settings and backgrounds of the main characters were revealed, making viewers look forward to the drama even more.
Responses to the drama include, "It was fun and fresh," "Will it be able to achieve 1st place in viewer ratings?" "This drama is too much. It went overboard and I was embarrassed when I watched it with my family," "The viewer ratings hit a jackpot."
On the other hand, 'Haeundae Lovers' is about prosecutor named Lee Tae Sung (played by Kim Kang Woo) who loses his memory and the daughter of a gangster named Go So Ra (played by Jo Yeo Jung).
