A 22-year-old Philadelphia woman who was abducted three days ago has reportedly been found on Wednesday.
The suspect involved in the abduction of Freeland-Gaither has reportedly been identified as 37-year-old Delvin Barnes, stated FBI agent Ed Hanko, according to CNN News.
Even before he abducted the young woman in Philadelphia, Barnes was reportedly wanted in connection to allegations outside of Virginia. Barnes reportedly faces charges in Charles City County, including attempted capital murder, abduction, forcible rape and malicious wounding with a chemical, according to Sheriff's Office Capt. Jason Crawley.
The 16-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted escaped Barnes' home and was found naked, bleeding and burned.
The recent kidnapping of Freeland-Gaither had gained widespread attention as the abduction was reportedly captured on a surveillance video in Philadelphia. Police reportedly stated that Freeland-Gaither had some injuries but was generally doing okay.
"My understanding is, even after she was in the car and bound, she continued to struggle with this guy," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey told ABC News.
He added, "She's got a lot of fight in her."
Ramsey reportedly stated that detectives are giving her time to settle down before completing interviews, according to the Detroit News.
Keisha Gaither expressed how grateful she was to have her daughter back at a Philadelphia news conference Wednesday evening.
"I'm taking my baby home. Thank you. Thank you so much," Gaither stated as authorities announced the nursing assistant's rescue.
