Eun Oh (played by Lee Joon Gi) finds out Arang's (played by Shin Min Ah) identity.
In the 2nd episode of MBC drama 'Arang and the Magistrate' that was aired on the 16th of August, Eun Oh enters a house that catches his eye.
Eun Oh starts to look through the items in the room when a servant woman comes in and says, "Please put that back. The young lady has to return." The servant woman explains to him that the young lady who was the owner of this room had disappeared suddenly three years ago. Then Eun Oh was sure that this house was Arang's.
As a result, Eun Oh and Arang come back to the house together. Arang looks through the whole room but she is unable to remember anything. Arang says, "How are you sure?" to which Eun Oh says it's because of the butterfly embroidery. The embroidery in the room was the same embroidery that was on Arang's clothes. Eun Oh then tells Arang that her name was "Lee Seo Rim."
They then meet people who knew Lee Seo Rim. They said that even though she was engaged, she had fallen for a man of low standing and run off with him. Even after several witnesses, Arang was still unable to remember. As a result, Arang tells Eun Oh that she wants to see the man that she was betrothed to. So the next day, they go look for the fiancé, who turns out to be Joo Wal (played by Yeon Woo Jin).
