Marc Anthony has a new wife and some say that she's hotter than J. Lo. Her name is Shannon de Lima, a Venezuelan model who played the singer's bride in his music video for "Flor Palida". She's the third wife of the 46-year old musician - with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres being the first and Grammy Award-winner Jennifer Lopez being the second. Marc Anthony, on the other hand, will be the first husband (and hopefully the last) of Shannon de Lima.
The singer's rep told Us Weekly that the couple got married on Nov. 11 in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Their wedding was attended by approximately 100 guests, including Latin superstars Carlos Vives, Juan Luis Guerra, and high-profile businessmen such as Sprint's Marcelo Claude and his business partner Charles Koppelman.
Also present during the couple's wedding were their children. Marc has a twin from J. Lo and four children from Dayanara while Shannon has a son from Venezuelan actor Manuel Sosa. According to Entertainment Wise, the 26-year old model was seen wearing an engagement ring back in March, but the news only came out just recently.
Many people are wondering if Jennifer Lopez is jealous of Marc Anthony's new wife because she's young and gorgeous. However, NY Daily News reported that she's totally fine with it and revealed that he was just her rebound from her breakup with Ben Affleck.
The 45-year old hitmaker told the news site, "I'm happy for him." She also talked about her love life and said, "I am totally single." J. Lo remains hopeful that she will meet the right person soon. She said, "It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along."
The Latin Grammy Award-winner, on the other hand, has nothing but wonderful things to say about his ex-wife even if he was just a rebound. Marc told Nightline back in 2011, "I'll always love Jennifer." He added, "She knows that ... my kids know that. Jennifer's a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend."
