In the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2, episode 7 spoilers from Movie News Guide, the lockdown was prompted when Boyle found a package "with mysterious white powder on it."
"The premises will have to be secured with no one coming in nor out, until they can confirm that the package is harmless," it said.
While Captain Holt spends thanksgiving in Sgt. Terry's house, Jake is in charge of manning the precinct, but "Amy has no confidence in Jake, and as expected, things will grow from bad to worse."

In an interview with News 1130 "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 cast Chelsea Peretti explained where she got her self-confidence rom.
"It's funny because I think I started being interested in that kind of persona and then it wound up being kind of self-actualizing. "When you're young, you think you can do anything. Then when you're spit out into the world and you have to get a job... you start going, 'Maybe I'm not this child genius that I thought I was.' Hopefully now I have a more balanced view of things," she said.
The stand-up comic's Netflix special titled "Chelsea Peretti: One of the Greats," will premiere Friday.
"The reason that I believe that my stand-up is good is that I talk about themes that human beings can relate to," she said. "Hopefully someday you can just be called a comedian and it won't even be a 'female comedian.'"
