The "Fifty Shades of Grey" lingerie line will soon be available after the stimulating sales of the BDSM-inspired sex toys. The sexy underwear collection is spearheaded by author EL James herself.
According to MailOnline, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" lingerie line will first be launched in Tesco on November 24.
The collection will have 19 new pieces, "including logo sleep-masks and sheer lingerie in jewel tones."
"For the Christmas collection we wanted dark and sensual pieces with a hint of decadence. We went for rich, deep red and midnight black to create a forbidden allure, and used signature embroidered elements and silk trimmings to add a touch of festive luxury," EL James said.
She added: "Designing the collection was a very organic process. It was important that every piece should be distinctly Fifty Shades, so we included iconic elements such as the Fifty Shades mask in the lace embroidery for the Seduction range, and a crystal key charm for the silk Temptation."
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" lingerie line wasn't the first product that piggyback on the success of the novels. Earlier, BDSM-inspired sex toys reported of brisk sales following the release of the EL James creations.
Manufacturer Love Honey cited the influence of "Fifty Shades of Grey" on the extra attention that the male sex toys is receiving, which now boasts of an annual worth of $10 million and projected to be the "fastest growing sector" of the industry in 2014.
Tracey Cox, sex and relationship expert, told MailOnline that sales of sex toys for men have been growing steadily in the last decade.
"We think lots of men will try out these new toys in the hope of improving their performance in bed," she said. "And lots of women will buy the products for their partners for the same reason!"
The Honey Love male sex toys received the official endorsement from E.L. James, per the fan site www.50shadesgray.com.
"This range is what I always imagined while I was writing 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' I'm so excited that the toys I described in the books have come to life and can now be enjoyed around the world," E.L. James stated.
