The 30-year old Scottish composer and DJ recently told in an interview for Capital FM that having no communication with his former flame is a good idea.
Calvin Harris said, "It's brilliant. It's great. It's stress-free. It's beautiful."
He also said that he has not seen the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" cast Rita Ora since March, a report from MTV.com said.
When asked if he would like to date celebrity women, Calvin Harris was quick to answer that he does not want any stars to be his girlfriend again, even when he was being linked to "Diamond" singer Rihanna, Design & Trend report said.
"She is absolutely, stunningly beautiful. I don't like celebrity women. Celebrity women, nah," Calvin Harris said.
Meanwhile, the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" cast Rita Ora seemed to have nothing to say about the remark of her former beau as she stepped out in an oversized red coat in New York.
The "How We Do" singer paired her ensemble with a thigh high boots and a matching red hat. She also donned an pair of sunglasses, possibly to hide her eyes from spectators.
Before the Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split, the two have been in a relationship for a year before calling it quits in June.
The "I Will Never Let You Down" singer is now dating Tommy Hilfiger's rapper son Ricky Hil whom she met in Hollywood following the much talked about Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split.
Meanwhile, the "Blame" producer is now dating rumored girlfriend Aarika Wolf whom he met at the shoot of his music video.
It can be recalled that Rita Ora and Calvin Harris break-up did not end well as the composer banned the "R.I.P" singer to perform his hit song "I Will Never Let You Down" at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards.
