"Fast and Furious 7", or officially called "Furious 7", will be the last film of Paul Walker. Since the movie is all about family and brotherhood, many people thought that this will be the last installment for the film franchise. However, Universal Pictures recently announced that we could see three more films in the future.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the chairperson of Universal Pictures discussed the future of the "Fast and Furious" film franchise. THR asked Donna Langley, "Furious 7 will be the last one with Paul Walker, sadly. Does the series stand without him?"

Langley said, "I believe it does. We think there's at least three more. Paul is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it's also an opportunity to introduce new characters."

She added, "I think it's still a growing franchise. We'll see what happens with Furious 7, obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there's more to mine there. But we're of course very mindful about fatigue."

In "Fast and Furious 7", Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb finished some scenes of Brian O'Conner. There were rumors that Cody Walker will do more movies for the film franchise so he could be one of the new characters that we may see in "Fast and Furious 8".

Senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian told Movie Pilot, "If Cody does a great job and is well received by audiences in this newly conceived role, then who better to carry on the Walker tradition than his brother? When it's a family member who fills in, it seems to soften any criticism that could develop."

He added, "Universal is keeping it in the family and it's tough to argue with the strategy...I think that it's a meritocracy and that's appropriate." I guess we will have to wait and see how the audience will react to Cody Walker's performance in "Fast and Furious 7", which will hit the theaters on April 3, 2015.
