According to Hypable, "Sheldon will retire "Fun With Flags" when The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 10 airs tonight. The synopsis for tonight's episode, titled "The Champagne Reflection," makes it clear that the whole geeky gang will be busy tonight. It's nice to see that Dr. Cooper has recovered from last week's episode of The Big Bang Theory, when Leonard's nasal surgery caused Sheldon such anxiety that he broke his own nose. At the same time, Howard and Bernadette struggled to strengthen their marriage after learning that Raj's parents had split. It's hard to say how the Wolowitz-Rostenkowskis will fare this week, but the preview for "The Champagne Reflection" suggests that Sheldon and Amy will be practically joined at the hip, as Sheldon retired "Fun With Flags." The first clip from The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 10 features another farewell, as Leonard, Howard, and Raj clean out a deceased professor's office. The second clip offers a look at what may turn into a very bad night for Bernadette... and everyone around her. The still images from "The Champagne Reflection" gleefully illustrate what lengths Sheldon will go to to send "Fun With Flags" off in style - and also display the bubbly hinted at in the episode title."
Would you like some additional spoilers for tonight's episode? Well, you're in luck!
"Admittedly, there is a part of us that really wishes that someday Jim Parsons would sit down record 200+ editions of "Fun with Flags" as Sheldon Cooper, but we know that this is extremely unlikely to ever happen. The promo for Thursday night's new episode of "The Big Bang Theory" is all about Sheldon reaching the end of the road for his web series, which has an unknown number of viewers. There's some great banter in here between Parsons and Mayim Bialik's Amy, and that is really all that the clip gives away. At some point, LeVar Burton may be making another appearance during this segment, and John Ross Bowie will be coming back as Kripke at some point during this episode, as well. One final teaser when it comes to this episode: For those of you looking for some payoff to the way that Penny and her co-workers talk about Bernadette, you're going to get it by the time this episode ends," reports Carter Matt.
