One of the most well loved couples in Hollywood is Chris Pratt and Anna Faris because both are gorgeous and funny. We always see them happy and laughing, but not many people know the struggle and trials they both had to face since their baby was born.
During an interview with GQ, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star and his wife revealed that their son Jack, who was born in August 2012, was born premature. ET reported Anna Faris saying, "He was born at three pounds." The 37-year old actress also said, "And we were told, 'Okay, you need to be prepared for raising a special-needs child.'"
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were shocked when they heard that, but they still tried to become the best parents to their child. "The House Bunny" star revealed, "And we felt like it was devastating, but it also felt like, you know, 'We can do this.'" Her husband added, "He's alive."
Apart from having a positive attitude, the movie hunk also revealed that religion helped them get through everything. Pratt told People, "It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it."
The 35-year old actor shared, "The baby was so beautiful to us, and I look back at the photos of him and it must have been jarring for other people to come in and see him, but to us he was so beautiful and perfect."
In a separate interview with Us Weekly, Chris Pratt talked more about the development of their son Jack, who is now 2 years old. He said, "He's saying his sentences. He's actually having conversations now." The screen heartthrob added, "He loves monster trucks and everything construction."
Chris Pratt is now one of the most in demand actors in Hollywood. But if he was to choose between his career and son, he will always choose Jack. He said, "The truth is, up until having a kid, each career was essentially our main priority...Our careers are still very high on the list, but our son is the main priority."
