Season 5 of hit IFC "Portlandia" premieres on January 8 and wrapped filming months ago, but Fred Armisen is still showing lots of love to his adopted city of Portland. Jerry Seinfeld joins "SNL" veteran Armisen as they explore all that's funny and weird about Portland in a brand new episode of "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee."
According to Oregon Live, "Portlanders geeked out in September when Jerry Seinfeld was spotted in Portland with "Portlandia" star and co-creator Fred Armisen, tooling around in a 1965 Saab and visiting Coava Coffee Roasters. The two comedy bigshots were making an episode of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," the web series in which Seinfeld rides around in classic cars and shares caffeine breaks with other comic talents."

As you might recall, back in October Seinfeld expressed his love for Portlandia.
"I'm kind of obsessed with Portlandia right now...I mean, wow, it's just too beyond brilliant. I was just in Portland, and everywhere you go, it's like, is this a sketch, or is this the real show?" explained Jerry Seinfeld at the Clio Awards.
"I think that's the best comedy on TV right now," touted the legend to Vulture.
So its fair to say you can expect some quality hilarity from these two comedy geniuses!
