Henry Cavill's relationship with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Gina Carano has been silent for the past couple of months. No updates about them as a couple except being off-again. According to E! News, the "Man of Steel" star and the former MMA athlete break up. The publication's source said that the breakup "happened a while ago."

Let's try to look back at the couple's "relatively low profile" relationship after they rekindled their romance in the fall of last year. Henry and Gina were spotted dining together in Rome October of 2013. It appears to be the mark of their on-again status. Since then, the couple kept low-key but hit the headlines January of this year after they revealed they had adopted an Akita puppy from Big Bear Akitas.

"We are proud to announce the newest members of the Big Bear family! Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Gina Carano(Fast and Furious 6) are the proud owners of a Big Bear Akita,' breeders Big Bear Akita wrote while posting a picture of the pair with their pet. It was so great working with Henry and getting to meet him as well as Gina was truly a treat. Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around. It was truly an honor to add them to our extended family and thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children. It's not everyday that an A-list celebrity, much less 2 celebrities come to Beebe, AR to visit," the Arkansas breeder said.

Meanwhile, Henry and Gina are both busy in their careers. The British actor is having full of activity filming his upcoming movie "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" set for a 2016 with Ben Affleck and Amy Adams.

On the other hand, the former "Strikeforce" champ is filming two motion pictures for the big screen this year including "Bus 657" which stars De Niro and Batista together with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kate Bosworth and Morris Chestnut.
