Actor Lee Kwang Soo is receiving praise for crying earnestly for his friend Song Joong Ki in 'The Innocent Man'.
Kang Ma Ru (played by Song Joong Ki) fell into a depression because he lost the woman that he loved. Even after he conned, it seemed like he was living like a man without a care in the world. Park Jae Gil (played by Lee Kwang Soo) cried in earnest tears at his friend's plight.
On October 10th, during episode 9 of KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'The Innocent Man', Kang Ma Ru was living an empty life and committing cons because Seo Eun Ki (played by Moon Chae Won) disappeared after her car accident. Jae Gil told him, "I'm worried that you're just acting like this to die early. You were able to hold it together even after Jae Hee left. You survived that ordeal and came this far. How can you be like this now? Don't be like that, Ma Ru." As Jae Gil earnestly cried for Ma Ru, he brought the viewers to tears as well.
Jae Gil also comforted Choco (played by Lee Yoo Bi), who was locked in sadness because of what her brother had become, by parodying the movie, 'Love Actually' and using the 'notebook confession'. Jae Gil is warm-hearted and supportive of the two siblings.
Jae Gil confessed and wrote on the sketchbook, "My father passed away. I'm a lot more depressed than I thought I would be, but I'm trying to be strong and smile." He hated his father for a very long time. He left home because his father was the owner of a shady company. However, he was still sad when his father passed away.
Through 'The Innocent Man', Lee Kwang Soo is a "loyal friend" to Song Joong Ki, while he is a "thoughtful man" to Lee Yoo Bi, who harbors a crush on him. He is the real "innocent and nice man" in the drama.
