What should we look forward to for tonight's series finale? Warning: SOA Season 7 spoilers ahead!
According to the A.V. Club, which chooses the SOA series finale as its top pick for Tuesday night viewing, "Tonight, FX's manliest, brawling-est, motorcycle-riding-est show airs its last ever episode. For those like Zack Handlen, tonight marks the end of a long, winding journey, one full of giddy highs and frustrating lows. He will check in tonight one final time to provide his usual incisive critique-and, in the meantime, do check out Joshua Alston's TV Club 10 on the show at its best-but, for those of us who solely know Sons Of Anarchy through its wonderfully bloated running times, there's only ever one question to answer, namely...Hey, how long is Sons Of Anarchy overrunning this week? Well, TV Guide says the finale starts at 10 p.m. and doesn't finish until 1 a.m., but that three-hour length probably bakes in the customary live after-show. The repeat is listed for an hour and 53 minutes, so we're only overrunning by 53 minutes. Yes, I said "only." For the last ever Sons Of Anarchy, an episode that can't even break the two-hour barrier feels somehow paltry. Fingers crossed that 113 minutes will be sufficient time for "Jax to fulfill his father's legacy in the series finale," I guess."
Care for some more spoilers and speculation about what's next for SOA on tonight's finale episode of the series?
"In tonight's Series Finale, which has been curiously titled "Papa's Goods," we will watch as Jax, Chibs, Tig, Happy, and the rest of the Sons of Anarchy embark on their final ride. Unfortunately, there is a price to be paid for the decisions that have been made this season. Sometimes, that price can only be paid in blood. If there is one thing that Series Creator Kurt Sutter has been perfectly clear about, it is that this was going to be a bloody and heartbreaking season. Thus far, he has lived up to his word. The bad news is, this means that with one more episode in front of us, the bloodshed is far from over. When everything is said and done, and the dust settles in the small town of Charming, who will still be around to tell the tale? Unfortunately, we have a very bad feeling that the one person we will not see is SAMCRO President Jackson "Jax" Teller. All season long, he has allowed his anger and his thirst for revenge to blindly guide his actions, and it has brought him nothing but pain and heartache. One of those bad decisions he made in the heat of the moment was killing Sons of Anarchy Indian Hills chapter President Jury White. While Jury may have made a few bad decisions, Jax was very quick to the trigger. After coming clean about the incident to the other Sons of Anarchy Presidents, Jax faces down the prospect of Mr. Mayhem. We also know that the remainder of SAMCRO is not going to go down without a fight. Unfortunately, this may lead to there not being much of a club left when all is said and done. We have a feeling that when the final credits roll, we will see a whole new SAMCRO built on the foundation that was set by John Teller so many years ago," reports Fansided.
And here's the biggest spoiler of them all...Warning: Do not read ahead unless you want the finale truly spoiled for you!
According to iDigital Times, "season 7 episode 13 has been spoiled by an unexpected source, the Sons of Anarchy: The Collector's Edition book, which was accidentally shipped out early by distributors and outlets that broke embargo The final deaths of "Papa's Goods" have been revealed, telling us who lives and who dies after the finale...Well the big reveal is that Jax Teller dies according to the Inqusitir. They even have a picture of the book which shows Jax's named listed under season 7 deaths. The picture also confirms the death of Charles Barosky, August Marks and members of the Irish Kings, Declan Brogan and Brendan Roarke which suggests that the last episode will be a real bloodbath. Quite frankly though, some of the deaths, especially Jax's don't really surprise us. After killing his mother in the last episode we really didn't see any way for Jax to survive the finale. According to some rumors going around the specific manner of Jax's death is suicide, he kills himself the same way father did, by crashing his bike into the rock. This spoiler isn't confirmed yet and we don't know if it is true, but it seems possible."
It will certainly be interesting to see all of this play out! Check out the "Papa's Goods" (S07E13) promo preview and behind-the-scenes video for the SOA finale here:
