Posted on "Hello Giggles," Zooey Deschannel captioned the video by writing "My new girl co-star, Max Greenfield, made this video of himself singing Rihanna whilst wearing prosthetic makeup and a whole lot of padding. The result is indescribable. Enjoy."

It appears Max Greenfield seriously enjoyed making the video, as his character got down to the hit Rihanna song. We're sure the video would still be entertaining if he wasn't in character, but the fat suit and prosthetics just make it that much better.

Although the video just recently saw the light of day, it was apparently made way back in 2011. In fact, it was even posted online for a brief two hours.

In an interview with E! News, Greenfield recalled "I had originally made this video in the fat suit and I was singing a Rihanna song...It got pulled down, which was a real bummer, but it would have gotten pulled down at some point anyway."

"They were like, 'Listen, Max, there were so many things wrong with the video that you made and you've got to consult us...Because Extra had the rights to reveal Fat Schmidt, and then we didn't have the rights to the song, and the studio was just like, 'Please, please what are you doing?' So I said, 'Look, it got a lot of exposure in the two hours that you let me keep it up,'" explained the "New Girl" star.

Well, we're glad its back because we've missed "Fat Schmidt" oh-so-much. And this is how he returns to our hearts? It goes without saying, this is the best Christmas present "New Girl" fans could have ever wished for.
