Gina Carano got a new movie. According to Bleacher Report, the former "Strikeforce" champ lands on a role in the remake of the 1989 Jean-Claude Van Damme classic "Kickboxer." Reportedly, Henry Cavill's ex-girlfriend will take fake punches for the money together with Georges St-Pierre.

Reportedly, press release from JAZO PR stated that the two will join Bellator's middleweight knockout artist Joe Schilling and former WWE star Dave Bautista. Gina Carano will play a fight promoter while Georges' role is not yet revealed for the film that started to shoot this week in New Orleans. Jean-Claude Van Damme will not repeat his role as Kurt Sloane in the film.

The same report stated that the shooting of the film will put distance between talk of St-Pierre and Carano returning to the cage.

It has been previously reported that Carano's return to the cage was a bit fuzzy and it caused UFC President Dana White to leave some heated remarks.

According to Fox Sports, Gina was eyed to have a bout with bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey for her first fight after her hiatus. From a very positive statement about negotiations with the former Champ, reports from Inside Fights last August made President Dana White's confidence in dealing with the now-silverscreen-star turned to comments like "negotiations with her have grown complicated" to being "the hardest human being we've ever dealt with."

"The hardest human being we've ever dealt with and I didn't see it coming," White said about trying to sign Carano. "Just incredibly difficult. We've dealt with (Brock) Lesnar, Tito (Ortiz), Chuck (Liddell) was f--king king of the world, Ronda Rousey, we've pretty much done deals with everyone on Earth and she is the hardest f--king athlete we have ever dealt with."

Reportedly, White doesn't hold any personal grudges to Carano but he believes she's allowing her managers to handle the negotiations which made her return to UFC difficult one. Carano last fought back in 2009.
