"House of Cards" season 3 spoilers are hard to come by but sometimes new tidbits get through showrunner Beau Willimon's filter. Meanwhile, the Netflix series got three nominations from the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Mahershala Ali, who also plays Boggs in "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," teased season 3 spoilers for "House of Cards" to Indie Wire.
"I will tell you this; he has landed somewhere. He's got a new job and he will be present in the new season trying to wheel and deal a little bit," he said.
The actor also credit the Netflix series into opening more opportunities for him as he credited the "House of Cards" in landing a role in "Hunger Games."
He said the Kevin Spacey starrer "is a show where, even though we don't know the metrics on it ... but I have a feeling that a lot of people watch it. Also, what's unique about it is that all the right industry folks watch it, so you're in the conversation, whether you get the job or not."
"You might get to a place where you're getting offers left and right but, where I find myself at right now in my career; that's the best that I can ask for right now, is to be in the conversation. So, I have an opportunity to take a meeting. or I have an opportunity to put myself on tape and really be taken seriously for that next part," Mahershala Ali added.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that "House of Cards" received three nominations from the Screen Actors Guild.
"With 'Breaking Bad' finally out of the picture, the race for TV's prestige hardware is wide open," it said. "'House of Cards' nabbed three Screen Actors Guild nominations, including a nod for Best Ensemble."
Kevin Spacey is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, while Robin Wright got the nod for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
