Many people are wondering what would make "Avengers 2" better than the first movie. Joss Whedon revealed several things that would help us understand more of the "Age of Ultron". If you haven't seen the first movie, then there wouldn't be any comparison. But die-hard "Avengers" fan will definitely expect a lot from the sequel. Don't worry because it seems that we won't be disappointed based on what the director revealed during a recent interview.
Joss Whedon told Fandango, "The cast is bigger." Apart from the original team, which consists of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), new recruits will be joining them.
Making a debut in "Avengers 2" are Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), The Vision (Paul Bettany), and Baron Wolfgang von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann). Of course, there will also be a new villain and his name is Ultron played by James Spader.
It sure is exciting seeing all of these characters in one movie, but wouldn't that be quite difficult to direct? Joss Whedon said, "The scope is bigger. We have more to work with. We have a bigger world to work with and a bigger world for [the Avengers] just to be in. Once they exist as a team, we have to deal with what everybody thinks about that, and what that means to the world. So it's not as simple as it was."
Apart from what we have mentioned, there were rumors that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Heimdall (Idris Elba) will also appear in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron". During an interview with the Telegraph, Elba accidentally revealed that was doing a scene for the sequel. He said, "And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they're like, [whispers] - 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'"
What a spoiler! Vulture asked Joss Whedon if he sent a scolding email to Idris Elba for revealing too much information. He said, "Um, should he receive an email from me, there might be an attitude of scold." The website also assumed that Kevin Feige was the one who took care of it and Whedon agreed. He said, "Yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story] and you're like, 'Awww'."
Do you think we will see more cameos in the "Avengers 2"?
