"House of Cards" season 3 spoilers reveal that the production already finished shooting in New Mexico in the wake of the announcement of the series getting nominations in major categories.
According to the "House of Cards" news from KOB, production already finished filming some episodes in the third season of the series in the northern part of New Mexico.
"Production took place in Santa Fe, Las Vegas and Espanola," it said. "In all, 85 New Mexico crew members, two New Mexico actors and approximately 90 local background talent participated in the production."
Meanwhile, Kevin Spacey quipped on Twitter that he won't be turning up to the Golden Globes this year in order to turn around his luck: "I jinxed the last 7 #GoldenGlobes noms by showing up, should I sit 8 out in hopes that works? To better odds! #HouseofCards @RealRobinWright."
Kevin Spacey plays Frank Underwood, a ruthless politician who achieved his goal of becoming the President of the United States. His wife, Claire Underwood is played by Robin Wright who was also nominated for best actress.
Beau Willimon also took to Twitter to write: "So proud of @KevinSpacey @RealRobinWright & the whole @HouseofCards team for the 3@GoldenGlobes noms! @netflix"
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that "House of Cards" received three nominations from the Screen Actors Guild.
"With 'Breaking Bad' finally out of the picture, the race for TV's prestige hardware is wide open," it said. "'House of Cards' nabbed three Screen Actors Guild nominations, including a nod for Best Ensemble."
Kevin Spacey is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, while Robin Wright got the nod for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
