Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dancing Stars. Recent reports say that the coveted top judge spot on Dancing With the Stars is turning into a controversy after Len Goodman, who held the position decide to retire. And Bruno Tonioli has threatened to quit if he's not given Lens' old job as the head judge on the American talent show. However, DWTS producers are keen on having former Season 18 champ Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dancing Stars as the top judge and they're not too worried about what Bruno has to say or if he wants to leave.
Here's a Len Goodman judging clip from YouTube:
Apparently, rumors in the news suggest there's stiff competition for the chief judge spot. Tonioli feels that the position is something that is owed to him whereas the producers feel that Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dancing Stars has put in his time on DWTS with B-Listers and he doesn't care who he hurts to get to the spot. A source told the Globe that the DWTS producers already had their minds on Maksim despite Bruno's demands.
"Top brass have made it clear that they want someone with the same feisty attitude as Len -- and Maks fits the bill perfectly. Now, after the snub Bruno is thinking it's time he called it quits too'" reported Classicalite, adding, "Maks is a real hot head and craves being the center of attention..."He's convinced he is going to be the star of the show -- and he doesn't care who he hurts!"
The number of years (almost a decade as a dancing pro) has earned Maks Chmerkovskiy a reputation that he can be proud of and one that he deserves. Winning the Season 18 DWTS was an additional victory for Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dancing Stars and his dancing partner and ice skating champ Meryl Davis. The two are reported to have incredible chemistry on and off the stage.
