"Big Bang Theory" season 8 cast member Kaley Cuoco has apologized for her recently pubished remarks about feminism as "The Wedding Ringer" actress said that her comments regarding the equality issue were taken out of context.

The 29-year-old actress aired her side after her interview for Redbook surfaced revealing that she is not a feminist.

In an Instagram post, Kaley Cuoco shared an apology letter accompanied by a photo of the Redbook cover.

"If any of you are In the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context," she said

"I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended." tennis player Ryan Sweeting's wife of one year added.

In the interview, the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 cast member was asked if she is a feminist to which she answered, "Is it bad if I say no? It's not really something I think about."

Kaley Cuoco explained in the article: "Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around. ... I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."

In the same article, as published by Time, the actress, who recently unveiled her own star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, also said that she loves cooking for her husband. Reportedly, whipping meal a five nights a week makes "The Wedding Ringer" actress feel like a housewife.

"I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I'm so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him. My mom was like that, so I think it kind of rubbed off," she said.

But "Big Bang Theory" season 8 cast member Kaley Cuoco's interview gathered irked comments from Twitter users, a report from USA Today said.
