The latest trailer of "The Peanuts Movie" thrilled many fans of the popular Charles M. Schulz comic strip. The footage featured Charlie Brown's dog Snoopy and the yellow bird Woodstock. In the clip, you will see Snoopy turn into a pilot and ride his red house.
The dog usually pretends that he is battling against the Red Baron; and that was shown in comics and TV for decades. This time, Snoopy flies over Paris and even soars across the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, the make-believe ends as the dog wakes up after he dropped on the round.
"The Peanuts Movie" trailer also featured the main character of the comic strip, Charlie Brown, who can be seen walking inside the theater with two big bags of popcorn. He accidentally bumped someone and said "sorry". One of the audience shouted, "Charlie Brown, you blockhead!"
The protagonist of the Peanuts flipped over the popcorn bag over his head and ended up being laughed at by the whole gang. It was such a delight to see some of the characters of the comic strip including Lucy, Linus, Pig Pen, Schroeder, Sally, and Peppermint Patty.
"The Peanuts Movie" will be shown in 3D on November 6, 2015. According to CNN, "The special, youthful enchantment that Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends have had for over six decades is not lost because the makers of the film are keeping it in the Schulz family with two of the original cartoonist's sons as writers for the project."
The 3D animated film is directed by Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift) and written by Bryan Schulz, Craig Schulz and Cornelius Uliano. During an interview with USA Today, one of the sons of Charles M. Schulze tried not to give out some spoilers. Craig Schulze said, "I'm way more protective than my father would have been."
The producer added, "Our No. 1 goal was always to be authentic to his work and legacy." Steve Martino, on the other hand, hinted the plot of the film. The director said, "We're going to fly with Snoopy in his fantasy world." He added, "We have a bigger canvas. Bill Melendez got Snoopy off the ground in the TV specials. We're going to take it a step further."
