The star of the cult-classic spy series "Chuck" will be making his major TV comeback through the NBC reboot of "Heroes." According to TV Line, our favorite geeky spy, Zachary Levi, will be joining Tim Kring's "Heroes Reborn" cast and he will be playing a "key role" in the series!
NBC boss Bob Greenblatt shared the information during the Television Critics Associations winter TV previews, Entertainment Weekly reported. He added that Levi's role in the series will be kept under wraps "because everything is shrouded in mystery."
He promised to reveal other "Heroes Reborn" cast members over the next couple of weeks as well. Jack Coleman was the first to be confirmed last year, reprising his role as Noah Bennett or Horn-Rimmed Glasses (HRG).
Actually, Jack Coleman won't be the only original cast member to join the 13-episode mini-series. According to Greenblatt, without "trying to be coy," fans might see "several of the old cast popping in to episodes."

Meanwhile, the "Tangled" star also shared his excitement for the project to TV Line.
"There are a few franchises I've always wanted to be a part of, and 'Heroes' is one of them," he told the publication.
"'Chuck' gave me the opportunity to wield some fun powers, but an entire world with superpowers is a world I've always wanted to explore," he added.
"I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with Tim [Kring], and the awesome team around him, in bringing this to life," the "Thor: The Dark World" actor shared. "Moreover, to be working with NBC again is such a reward in itself, as my bonds and relationships there are deep."
What kind of "hero" do you want him to be? An empath like Peter Petrelli or a time traveller like Hiro Nakamura?
