Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy S5- which big screened smartphone is for you?
Both Samsung phones top the lists when it comes to the most salable big screened smartphones. The South Korean tech giant has constantly innovated and improved on its hardware as evidenced by the noteworthy features of the Note 4, but it has also proven that their old models like the S5, can still outshine new releases.
For Android fans, choosing between the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy S5 could be a hard decision.
Here is a guide to help users choose between the Samsung Galaxy Note 4vs. Samsung Galaxy S5 specs:
Display
The Galaxy Note 4 boasts of a 5.7 inch display and a 2560x1440 pixel quad HD resolution. Not only is it brighter and more vibrant than any other smartphones out in the market, but it can also display more content simultaneously.
The Galaxy S5 on the other hand boasts of a 1,920x1080 Full HD resolution, with a 432ppi pixel density, making it compatible to play Full HD videos and browse through desktop versions of websites without having to adjust the size of the fonts.
Size
S5: 142mm x 73mm x 8.1mm
Note 4: 154mm x 79mm x 8.5mm
Design
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is said to carry vital improvements in design. Not only does it now come in an aluminium frame as compared to its predecessor's faux-metal, but it also loses the fake stitching at the back for a more put-together look.
As compared with the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Note 4 looks more sophisticated, more expensive and sturdier. Tech experts have always pointed out that the S5 has been using the same plastic materials from its predecessors.
Battery
According to Gizmag, "The Galaxy Note series has always had good - if not great - battery life. And with all that room to cram in a bigger battery, I suppose it makes sense.
With over 3.6 million pixels in that Quad HD display, though, we aren't going to make any assumptions. The LG G3, for example, only has what I'd call "solid enough" uptimes. For what it's worth, though, Samsung is saying that the Note 4 will have longer battery life than the Note 3 did."
Camera
With its 16MP camera, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is capable of recording 4K video recording plus other high-end features.
Note 4 has a 16MP rear camera and a 3.7MP front camera, while the iPhone 6 Plus boasts of a 8MP rear camera with the true tone flash and a 1.2 front camera.
