After the "Arrow" midseason premiere on Wednesday, fans are eagerly awaiting the next episode of the hit CW series! Episode 11, which airs on January 28, will contain plenty of conflict, action, and excitement for diehard fans. Keep reading for a "Midnight City" synopsis, spoilers, trailer video, and more!

While Oliver Queen remains alive, Team Arrow is not aware of his survival after his confrontation with Ra's al Ghul.

As executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explains in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the episodes will continue to get more epic as the series continues and Oliver Queen's death becomes a reality for Starling City.

"These three episodes are a trilogy essentially of what happens in Starling City when the world thinks Oliver Queen is dead and it allows every character on the show to rise or fall, depending on the circumstances they find themselves in," explains the "Arrow" producer.

Andrew Kreisberg adds, "You can't do an ending like we did in episode nine and resolve it in one episode. Even beyond this sort of trilogy, the repercussions of Oliver's actions are felt throughout the rest of the season. It's that moment that really changes the world of 'Arrow' forever. One of the things that characters discover along the way is there is no going back."

What in particular can we expect for next week's brand new episode?

On Episode 11, called "Midnight City," we will see "Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and Diggle (David Ramsey) confront Laurel (Katie Cassidy) about trying to step into her sister's shoes and warn her to stop before she gets herself killed. However, when Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones) kidnaps the city's Aldermen and threatens to kill them all unless the police evacuate The Glades, it's all suits on deck."

"Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) steps in to help Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and the police force fight Brick, showing Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) a new side of her boss. Malcom (John Barrowman) tells Thea (Willa Holland) that Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) is after him and his family and they must leave town immediately," explains the official CW synopsis.
