New details about the highly anticipated "Uncharted 4" reveal that Drake's deepest secrets will be exposed when his brother returns in the next installment.

According to Game Informer the final installment in the hit video game franchise will retain the signature Nathan Drake humor fans loved, but Naughty Dog has also decided to take the game to "another level."

"As we learned in Uncharted 3, Drake has a lot of secrets," writer Josh Scherr said. "Some [are secrets] that he's never told anybody else, and a lot of those secrets are buried in his past. And who better to help dig up those secrets than a long-lost family member?"

"I think that's where a lot of people's inner pain comes from...things that have happened early in your life and whether those experiences are scarring or they were so great that they just kind of linger with you," creative director Neil Druckmann shared.

Gamepur meanwhile noted: "Druckmann further went on to describe Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as a 'Large Adventure' which is set in comic book style world but has realistic feel and tone."

"Uncharted 4" will reportedly have outstanding gameplays and awesome visuals. But as new reports suggested, the game will deliver more than that as it is equally backed by a very interesting plot.

According to International Business Times, the game will take place 3 years after the last Uncharted game. Drake was reportedly living a normal and peaceful life with his young family for once, until Sam, the brother he thought was dead, paid him a visit.

"Sam appears and is in need of Drake. Sam's life depends on him finding an artefact from Henry Avery, a certain benefactor. Drake feels indebted to his brother, although he can't resist getting back on the treasure hunting tracks of the past. There on, the story takes Drake and Sam to Libertalia which is 'a mythic Madagascar colony purportedly founded by pirates,'" the article said.

The site also explained that unlike previous Uncharted games, "Uncharted 4" will veer away from the linear approach to "break away from the usual norm and introduce multiple paths."
